Part one of a triptych involving Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf. I've never drawn Zelda fanart, so this is my homage to 'Ocarina of Time', the best game on the N64.
Each of the characters has one piece of the triforce, that's why one triangle is darker than the rest. I'm finished the inking stage of Princess Zelda's, but I haven't started on Ganondorf's yet. I know Link's sword arm is gibbled and lots of the details of his costume aren't accurate. Oh well. I've always wondered why Link in Ocarina of Time never actually looked like an adult, so I tried to make him look at least twenty-something.
Hope you all enjoy!
Just a quibble. Link's feet aren't level with each other. It looks like he's on a flat, yet tilted, surface. That's all for now. The boys at OMU are pretty good at getting the other stuff. *is bad at critiquing *
Yeah...I despise backgrounds. If I had done one I might have...possibly...maybe not...made his feet look more normal.
P.S. Your critiqueing is just fine! Keep it up.
Sweet! I totally agree with that. I used to play that game for hours.....*sighs and remembers when life without rent allowed such time-wasting....*
thanks, by the way!
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
